The port authority of Patras faced sudden surges of unauthorized pedestrian traffic attempting to enter secure cargo loading yards. Because the perimeter environment consisted entirely of heavy reinforced concrete, permanent underground fence post installation was prohibited by local maritime regulations.

The Challenge & The Solution

·Aesthetic Restrictions: Local zoning laws prohibited shiny, metallic industrial fencing that would ruin the suburban park’s natural look.

·Public Safety Risks: Standard galvanized chain link fence tops have sharp wire twists (barbs) that can scratch children or pedestrians.

·Environmental Wear: The park’s perimeter runs alongside heavily salted winter roads and automated damp lawn sprinkler systems.

2.Our PVC Coated System Solution

·Landscape Integration: The dark Moss Green  polymer coating blends into the background trees and lawns, creating a low-visibility border.

·Injury Prevention: The system utilizes a smooth Knuckle-Knuckle top and bottom edge finish, removing all sharp points for public safety.

·Corrosion Shield: The thick vinyl layer is completely extruded over galvanized core wire, sealing out moisture, rust, and road salts.
